Der Kampf an der Tabellenspitze ist ein Dreikampf. Der FCR Duisburg gewann beim Hamburger SV 5:1 und hat vier Punkte Rückstand auf Frankfurt.
Bundesliga-Format vermissen lässt weiter das Schlusslicht Herforder SV. Gegen den VfL Wolfsburg gab es eine 0:8-Klatsche. Der Neuling hat bisher erst einen Punkt geholt.
