Magdalena Neuner gewinnt, Michael Greis auf dem Podest

Die wenig verwöhnten deutschen Biathleten konnten heute mal positive Schlagzeilen machen.
Magdalena Neuner gewann in Pokljuka den 7,5 km-Sprint. Trotz zweier Fehler beim Stehendschießen gewann die Deutsche mit 11,2 s Vorsprung auf die Slovakin Anastasiya Kuzmina. Die Finnin Kaisa Mäkäräinen teilte sich mit Olga Saitsewa (RUS) den dritten Platz und führt den Sprint-Weltcup souverän an. Die steigende Form der Deutschen zeigten heute zwei weitere Top-10-Platzierungen. Kathrin Hitzer wurde Achte, Tina Bachmann 10. Die 12., Miriam Gössner, verpasste eine bessere Platzierung wegen dreier Fehlschüsse.
Im Gesamt-Weltcup führt auch die Finnin Kaisa Mäkäräinen.

Michael Greis wurde im 10 km-Sprint mit einer guten Leistung Dritter. Der Deutsche traf bei allen zehn Schüssen, etwas, das zuletzt selten vorkam. So musste Greis nur dem Sieger Björn Ferry (S) sowie Tarjei Boe (N) den Vortritt lassen. Auch Andreas Birnbacher und Arnd Peiffer boten eine gute Leistung und kamen auf die Plätze 12 bzw. 19.
Im Weltcup führt nun Tarjei Boe vor seinen Landsleuten Emil Hegle Svendsen und Ole Einar Björndalen. Michael Greis ist hinter Sergej Sednew Fünfter.

The German biathletes were spoiled little time today to make positive headlines.
Magdalena Neuner won Pokljuka the 7.5 km sprint. Despite two errors in the standing stage, won the German 11.2 s ahead of the Slovakin Anastasiya Kuzmina. The Finn Kaisa Mäkäräinen shared with Saitsewa Olga (RUS) took third place and leads the Sprint Cup at ease. The increasing form of the Germans showed today two more top 10 rankings. Kathy superheater was eighth, 10th Tina Bachmann The 12th, Miriam Gössner, better placement missed because of three missed shots.
In the overall World Cup leads the Finn Kaisa Mäkäräinen.

Michael Greis was in the 10 km sprint with a good performance of third parties. The German hit in all ten shots, something that rarely occurred last. So had only the old man winner Björn Ferry (S) and Tarjei Boe (N) to defer. And Andreas Birnbacher and Arnd Peiffer was a great performance and came to the stations 12 and 19
Tarjei Boe in the World Cup now out in front of his countrymen Emil Hegle Svendsen and Ole Einar Bjoerndalen. Michael Greis is behind Sergei Sednew fifth.
