Leichtathletik-Team-EM: Deutschland nach erstem Tag auf Platz 2

Die deutsche Leichtathletik-Auswahl steht nach dem ersten Tag der Team-EM in Stockholm mit 183,5 Punkten auf einem passablen 2. Platz.
Starke Leistungen boten Christina Obergföll, die das Speerwerfen mit der neuen Jahresweltbestleistung von 66,22 m gewann und David Storl der das Kugelstoßen mit 20,81 vor dem polnischen Olympiasieger Tomasz Majewski gewann. Einen weiteren Sieg steuerte Betty Heidler im Hammerwerfen bei.
Eine weitere starke Leistung bot der Franzose Christophe Lemaitre. Der Europameister lief über die 100 m in 9,95 s neuen Landesrekord.
In der Team-EM führt Russland mit 213,5 Punkten vor Deutschland (183,5), Großbritannien (166) und der Ukraine (163).
