Die siebte Etappe führte von Vaduz in Liechtenstein über den Flüelapass, einem Berg der höchsten Kategorie, nach Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis in Österreich, wo den Fahrern der Schlussanstieg noch einmal alles abverlangte. Mit 223 km war es die längste Etappe der diesjährigen Tour.
Am schnellsten war Thomas de Gendt (BEL), der vor Andy Schleck (LUX/+ 35 s) und Jose Joaquin Rojas Gil (E/+ 48 s) gewann. In der Gesamtwertung bleibt Damiano Cunego (I) mit 1:23 min Vorsprung auf Bauke Mollema (NL) vorn. Platz drei hat weiter Steven Kruijswijk (NL/+ 1:36) inne.
The seventh stage led from Vaduz in Liechtenstein on the Flüela Pass, a mountain in the highest category, to Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis in Austria, where the drivers of the final climb again demanded everything. With 223 km it was the longest stage of this year's Tour.
The fastest was Thomas de Gendt (BEL), the front of Andy Schleck (LUX / + 35 s) and Jose Joaquin Rojas Gil (E / + 48 s) won. In the overall standings remain Damiano Cunego (I) 1:23 min ahead of Bauke Mollema (NL) forward. Third place has further Kruijswijk Steven (NL / + 1:36) hold.
