Beim abschließenden Springen in Bischofshofen segelte der Villacher auf Platz 2. Den Tagessieg errang der Norweger Tom Hilde. Simon Ammann musste sich hinter Andreas Kofler (A) mit Platz 4 zufrieden geben. Die deutschen Adler waren immer hin mit zwei Springen in den Top 10. Michael Neumayer wurde Achter, Pascal Bodmer Zehnter. Serverin Freund (13.) und Michael Uhrmann (16.) boten durchwachsene Leistungen. Auch Martin Schmitt schaffte es in den Finaldurchgang und wurde 24., Richard Freitag kam auf Platz 28.
DIe Tournee gewann Thomas Morgenstern mit 30 Punkten Vorsprung auf Simon Ammann. Tom Hilde kam auf Platz 3. Michael Uhrmann kam als bester Deutscher auf Platz 11, Severin Freund wurde 12.
Der Weltcup ist zur Zeit klar in österreichischer Hand. Andreas Morgenstern führt für Andreas Kofler. Der ist aber wie der Dritte, Simon Ammann, schon weit abgeschlagen. Severin Freund ist 16., Michael Neumayer 18.
