Fußball: Hamburgs Pokalsieger steht ohne Mannschaft da

Das hätte ich mir eigentlich nicht träumen lassen, dass ich in meinem Blog über einen Hamburger Landesligisten schreibe. Außer vielleicht, der Eimsbüttler TV gewinnt die erste Runde im DFB-Pokal. Gegner ist da die Greuther Fürth, wenn Eimsbüttel bis dahin eine Mannschaft hat. Klingt komisch, ist aber so. Die Eimsbüttler stehen zum Saisonstart ohne Mannschaft da. Die Pokalsieger treten alle zum 30.06. aus dem Verein aus. Die Trainer gehen gleich mit. Übrigens ist wohl kein Klub gekommen und hat die Kicker reihenweise abgehoben. Warum auch, mal von den grandiosen Pokalspielen, in denen 6 Oberligisten ausgeschaltet wurden, boten die Eimsbüttler eher Fußball-Magerkost. Unter den 16 Mannschaften der Landesliga Hammonia reichte es am Ende nur für Platz 10. Die Landesliga ist die sechsthöchste Klasse Deutschlands.

Nun haben Feierabendkicker das große Geld gewittert und der Verein auch. Denn wer in der 1. Runde des DFB-Pokals steht wird dafür vom Verband fürstlich belohnt. Rund 110.000 € werden als Antrittsprämie auf das Konto des ETV wandern. Das weckt natürlich Begehrlichkeiten. Klar, die Spieler haben den Geldsegen möglich gemacht und sollten deshalb entsprechend partizipieren. 50 % der Gage sollte an die Mannschaft fließen, der Rest sollte für den Bau eines geplanten Kunstrasenplatzes dienen. Ein schöner Zuverdienst sollte man meinen. Der Mannschaft war dies aber zu wenig. Höhere Forderungen wollte der Verein nicht erfüllen, auch weil man sich nicht erpresen lassen wollte. Nun zogen Spieler und Trainer die Konsequenzen und treten aus dem Verein aus. Kohle und das Riesenerlebnis gegen eine Profitruppe sind für die Mannschaft weg. Der Verein steht ohne Mannschaft da. Wie zerstörerisch doch Geld sein kann. Also, wer schon immer mal gegen eine Profitruppe Spielen wollte, in Hamburg wohnt und ansonsten ein bisschen in der Landesliga gegen den Ball treten will: Der Eimsbüttler TV sucht auf allen Positionen Spieler.
